Join Luca Manfé on a trip to Scotland where you will get to experience one of Europe's most beautiful countries in a way most travelers never do, through food, nature, and shared moments around the table.
Over 8 nights, you will stay together in a stunning Scottish property, exploring the country at a relaxed pace with three hands on cooking sessions led by Luca woven throughout. The cooking draws on Italian tradition using fresh Scottish ingredients, and is designed to be enjoyable whether you are confident in the kitchen or just love eating well.
Between sessions there is plenty on offer. Day trips into Edinburgh, guided hikes, whisky tastings, kayaking, castle visits, or simply time to slow down and take in the scenery.
Evenings are unhurried and built around the table, with good food, local wine and whisky, Scottish folklore and storytelling, ceilidh dancing, and the kind of conversation that only seems to happen somewhere truly special.
Luca Manfé is a chef, entrepreneur, and winner of MasterChef Season 4. Born in Sydney and raised in northeastern Italy, food has always been at the centre of who he is, not just what he does.
After years working in some of New York City's top restaurants, Luca built a career around authentic Italian cooking and the kind of hospitality that makes people feel genuinely welcome. Today he runs his own butcher shop and Italian market, takes on private chef work, and hosts small group culinary trips abroad, including his popular tours of Italy.
What comes through in everything Luca does is a real love of bringing people together around the table. He is not interested in formality or perfection. He is interested in good ingredients, honest cooking, and the conversations that happen when people share a proper meal.
Scotland is his latest destination, and if his Italy trips are anything to go by, it will be something special.
Scotland is one of those places that feels untouched, raw, and deeply connected to its history. From the Highlands to the lochs, every landscape tells a story.
What makes Scotland truly special is the balance between rugged nature and rich tradition. You have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, rolling green hills, dramatic coastlines, and quiet countryside and at the same time, a strong culture built around community, heritage, and craftsmanship.
The food scene is also incredibly exciting. Scotland offers amazing local ingredients, from fresh seafood to high-quality meats, dairy, and produce. It’s a place where simplicity and quality come together naturally, something that aligns perfectly with my cooking philosophy.
Scotland gives us the perfect setting to slow down, cook, explore, and enjoy life at a different pace. It’s not about rushing from place to place, t’s about being present and fully experiencing where you are
Rachel's Farm sits just outside the village of Buchlyvie in Stirlingshire, around an hour from Edinburgh and right in the heart of some of Scotland's most beautiful countryside. The property is made up of six individually designed buildings centred around a courtyard, with four additional luxury lodges set just behind. Everything is within a very short walking distance, so the whole group stays connected while still having their own private space to come back to each night.
Rachel's Farm is set up to accommodate larger groups who want a comfortable, sociable base to return to after a day out exploring Scotland. A dedicated communal dining space and plenty of shared areas give everyone room to come together for meals, evening drinks, and those long unhurried nights that tend to become the highlight of any trip.
Every property has its own hot tub, and the estate also has a shared sauna and cold plunge area. There is an on site animal sanctuary, and the views across the surrounding Stirlingshire countryside are the kind that stop you in your tracks.
As part of the trip, Luca will be taking the group to the Nick Nairn Cook School on the shores of the Lake of Menteith, Scotland's only natural lake, for a hands on cooking session at one of the most celebrated cookery schools in the country. Fun, relaxed, and genuinely memorable.
