Join artist and teacher Tammy Kaye for a week of painting, exploring, and storytelling in the heart of Scotland.
Each morning begins with guided painting sessions in the Scottish countryside, with light that watercolour painters dream of. Afternoons bring exploration: sketch beside the shimmering shores of Loch Lomond, wander the storied grounds of Stirling Castle, and soak in centuries of Scottish history that will find its way straight onto your canvas. Tammy will also provide daily journal prompts to help you focus on personal growth along with your art.
Guided nature walks through the Stirlingshire countryside offer quiet moments of inspiration, while evenings gather the group around the fire for Celtic storytelling, laughter, and the kind of connection that only happens when creative souls come together somewhere truly special.
All meals are prepared to the highest kosher standard, so you can relax, eat well, and focus entirely on the experience.
Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or deepening a lifelong practice, Tammy's warm and encouraging teaching style ensures you leave with new skills, lasting friendships, and paintings that carry the soul of Scotland home with you.

Tammy has always been a creative person, but did not practice consistently until she was introduced to watercolor during the pandemic. When she discovered watercolor, it provided her with a self-care skill to manage her own anxiety. She has also been a masters-level mental health therapist since 2011, which is why she enjoys mixing self-care in with painting to help students let go of perfectionism. She began teaching art online, slowly growing her presence on Instagram, YouTube, Skillshare, and Patreon. This led to creating her own courses, designing her own watercolor brushes, and even leading art retreats in Italy and now Scotland.
